Chilled European Coffee

Instant SnacksChilled European Coffee


1 cup heavy cream or half-and-half 
1/4 cup sugar
1 ounce unsweetened chocolate, grated or finely chopped
3 cups cold strong brewed coffee 
ice


1. In a saucepan, combine the cream, sugar and chocolate and bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Remove from the heat and plunge the saucepan in a larger bowl filled with ice and water.
2. When cool, combine the chocolate mixture with the coffee in a pitcher. Add ice and serve.


Makes: 2 to 4 servings
